TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK FOUR (03/07/23 - 07/07/23)

 FOURTH WEEK

03/07/23 - The higher secondary school students led the morning assembly to start off I got there at the school at 8:45. I attended the assembly hosted by the high school students in the open auditorium and signed the attendance book. Each trainee was assigned a discipline duty. In 3rd period I had a substitute class in 2C, and in 7th period in 6B. My class met in 9B in the fourth period. I offered them some practice questions to help them prepare for their exams and develop their writing abilities.

04/07/23 to 07/07/23 The students had their unit test. They had exams from 11 to 12:30 and afternoon from 1:50 to 2:30. So I hadn't got any class these days. I had exam duty as well other duties like distributing question papers to teachers, collecting answer sheets etc. Sujeev Sir asked me to correct answer sheets of 9B and 10A students. Altogether this week gave me thorough understanding about how exams are being conducted in schools.

 World Wetland was celebrated in the college by the Department of Natural Science through Google Meet. The program included a detailed discussion on the conservation of nature and wetlands.A wetland is a place where the land is covered by water or is present either at or near the surface of the soil all throughout the year.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK NINE (07/08/23 - 09/08/23)

 NINTH WEEK 07/08/23 - I reached the school by 8:45am. Today I conducted the achievement test during 6th and 7th period. The students were very serious about the exams. I had breakfast duty today. 08/09/23 - Today I reached the school by 8:30. I went and signed the attendance register and went to serve the morning breakfast for the students. I was feeling very low as there is only one day left for me to finish my teaching practice and I'm really going to miss being here. I had 4th period today. I taught them the format of all the writing discourses that would come for their exams. During the 7th period i taught them if- clause. I also distribute my survey questionnaire among students and teachers today. 09/09/23 - Last and final day of my teaching practice. A journey that I'll never forget.
