TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK FIVE( 10/07/23 - 14/07/23)

 FIFTH WEEK

10/07/23-  I reached the school on time. I had breakfast duty today. The day was pretty hectic for me as I had substitution classes in 2C,2A and 5C. I had my class in 9B during 7th period and I started a new poem. I introduced the poets and talked about olympics as the poem was related to that. We talked about the importance of sports in our life.

11/07/23- World Population Day was celebrated in our school. We had assembly today by the higher secondary students and they organized a quiz related to population day. Today I had my first optional observation. Veena ma'am came to the school on time. She was happy with my class and told me to continue teaching in the same manner. The only thing she pointed out was that I should improve my blackboard writing skill.



12/07/23 - Today I reached the school on time. I had substitution class today. I started a new chapter in 9B. I showed them some videos about the condition of refugees to create a mental readiness among students. I was able to create a good classroom atmosphere .

13/07/23-  As usual I reached the school by 8:45 . Today I had lunch duty. I distributed the answer papers to the students during one of the free hour they had. During my period I continued with my lessons.

14/07/23 - Usual things happened today. I had my class and continued with the rest of the chapter. I had substitution class in 3C today which was a nice experience as they gifted me with many cute stickers and I felt really happy. They were requesting me to teach them English. That was one memorable day for me.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK NINE (07/08/23 - 09/08/23)

 NINTH WEEK 07/08/23 - I reached the school by 8:45am. Today I conducted the achievement test during 6th and 7th period. The students were very serious about the exams. I had breakfast duty today. 08/09/23 - Today I reached the school by 8:30. I went and signed the attendance register and went to serve the morning breakfast for the students. I was feeling very low as there is only one day left for me to finish my teaching practice and I'm really going to miss being here. I had 4th period today. I taught them the format of all the writing discourses that would come for their exams. During the 7th period i taught them if- clause. I also distribute my survey questionnaire among students and teachers today. 09/09/23 - Last and final day of my teaching practice. A journey that I'll never forget.
