SECOND PHASE OF TEACHING PRACTICE- WEEK ONE (12/06/23- 16/06/23)

 1st Week

12/06/23 - Today marked the start of the second round of teaching practice. Being assigned to the same school—GMGHSS Pattom—made me very delighted. This is something I see as a blessing because I am so delighted with the school's well-organized operation.



              I got there at the school at 8:45. I got to know the new teacher in charge of us trainees, Sreelekha, and HM. I realized right away that the new HM Vincent Sir is extremely strict about maintaining order in the school. I got to teach 9B students and the English teacher in charge of that class was Sujeev Sir. I got to the class with full confidence. I interacted with the students and started with the 1st chapter. I felt that I was able to manage the class in a well-organized way even from the 1st day itself. I felt very proud of myself.

13/06/23- I reached the school by 8:45. I straight away went to sign the attendance register. Today i had the 3rd period. I went to class and created a good rapport with them. Students were really impressed by my entry activity. By 12PM I went to serve the lunch for LP/UP students. I was so happy and satisfied in doing these things.

14/06/23- By the third day me and Anuraj got many friends from other colleges. Each day of spending in this school i consider as blessing because it was really a great opportunity to improve our teaching skills in many ways and to understand the reality of how tough it is to be a teacher both mentally and emotionally. I reached the school by 8:45 and we had the breakfast duty today. Everything went well today.

15/06/23- I reached the school on time. I had 3rd period today, duration of 45 minutes. Today during my class, I understood that I should improve my blackboard writing skills. Otherwise, the class went well today, and students were very much responding to my questions.

16/06/23- I reached the school and signed the register. HM sir told me to take substitution class in 5A during the 4th period and asked me to teach them English. That was quite a nice experience for me because I understood that we have to put a lot more energy to teach students in LP/UP sections and to maintain class discipline was really tough.

 SEVENTH WEEK 24/07/23 - Today I reached the school by 8:45am and signed the register. I met Vincent Sir today. He asked me about the performance of the students. Sir was very kind and friendly to all the trainees and did all the possible things for the success of the students. Today I had 6th period and I had  general observation today. Arun Sir came to our school. He appreciated me for my classroom management skills and was happy with the class. The only thing he pointed out was to be more pleasant in class. 25/07/23 - Today i had my second round option observation. Venna ma'am reached the school on time. I took the last chapter of the unit. Ma'am was really impressed with my class and i was so happy. Today there was some practices going for the SPC students. The SPC students were very active in this school unlike other schools. TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK EIGHT( 31/07/23- 4/08/23)

 EIGHTH WEEK 31/07/23 - Today I had 4th period and I finished with my lessons succesfully. I'm fully satisfied that I gave my 100% for making the students learn and understand the lessons from the class itself. Hindi club was inaugurated today.  1/08/23 - Today I taught the student Active and passive voice with the help of ICT. The students got a clear understanding and they responded actively to all my questions. 02/08/23 - I reached the school on time. District level preprimary annual celebrations was inaugurated in our school. I taught the students a small grammar portion today during my 7th period. 03/08/23-  Today there was no class as the school oraganized a sports meet at Central Stadium and Leena A ( Kerala Sports Council Secretary) was the guest. All the trainees along with the teaching staff arranged everything for those students who participated. 04/08/23- Today I taught them a small grammar portion during my 7th period. I had Lunch duty today with Anuraj.
