 FIRST WEEK OF TEACHING PROGRAMME (05/12/2022 to 09/12/2022)


As part of the 2021–2023 B.Ed Curriculum, I was given the assignment to participate in the trainee teaching program on December 5, 2022. Two student teachers were placed at Govt. GHSS Pattom.


Given that it was our first day, we arrived at the school early. The institution's headmaster went over all the tasks and responsibilities we had to complete as part of the curriculum. Both of us were put in class 8. In class 8B, I got to teach English. There were almost 40 B Ed trainees from various colleges.



05/12/2022 Both of us reached the school on time. We went and signed the attendance register. Headmaster told us that the district level sports competitions inaugural function is to be held at our school, so they have given two days holiday for the students.

07/12/2022 We reached the school by 8:45. Both of us went and signed the attendance register. We met our assigned class English teachers. The teacher in charge of my class was Smt Sijamol Ma'am. Ma'am told me that 8B class is a combined class with 8A as 8A contains 10 students of Malayalam medium so, when teaching i have to explain both in English and Malayalam. I went to the class with a lot of excitement. It was my first-time teaching in a school. I interacted with the students. I felt very confident while teaching. Everything went well today. 

08/12/2022The day got off to a good start. I arrived at school before 9.00 AM. For the day, I had to start third period. Students engaged in the teaching and learning process actively. Before moving on to the following lesson, Ma'am instructed me to finish the chapter that is required for their Christmas exam. We arrived at the mess hall at 12:15 PM to start serving lunch to the LP/UP students. It was a wonderful experience.

09/12/2022 I arrived on time to the school. I went straight to the office to sign the attendance sheet. I then proceeded to the dining hall to serve the students' breakfast. Today was my third period. I was able to remember the names of the majority of the class members after one week. My ability to control the classroom has really increased.

 SEVENTH WEEK 24/07/23 - Today I reached the school by 8:45am and signed the register. I met Vincent Sir today. He asked me about the performance of the students. Sir was very kind and friendly to all the trainees and did all the possible things for the success of the students. Today I had 6th period and I had  general observation today. Arun Sir came to our school. He appreciated me for my classroom management skills and was happy with the class. The only thing he pointed out was to be more pleasant in class. 25/07/23 - Today i had my second round option observation. Venna ma'am reached the school on time. I took the last chapter of the unit. Ma'am was really impressed with my class and i was so happy. Today there was some practices going for the SPC students. The SPC students were very active in this school unlike other schools. TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK EIGHT( 31/07/23- 4/08/23)

 EIGHTH WEEK 31/07/23 - Today I had 4th period and I finished with my lessons succesfully. I'm fully satisfied that I gave my 100% for making the students learn and understand the lessons from the class itself. Hindi club was inaugurated today.  1/08/23 - Today I taught the student Active and passive voice with the help of ICT. The students got a clear understanding and they responded actively to all my questions. 02/08/23 - I reached the school on time. District level preprimary annual celebrations was inaugurated in our school. I taught the students a small grammar portion today during my 7th period. 03/08/23-  Today there was no class as the school oraganized a sports meet at Central Stadium and Leena A ( Kerala Sports Council Secretary) was the guest. All the trainees along with the teaching staff arranged everything for those students who participated. 04/08/23- Today I taught them a small grammar portion during my 7th period. I had Lunch duty today with Anuraj.
